Miguel brought the turn-up to daytime TV on Tuesday (Feb. 23), performing his latest single “Waves” on ‘Ellen.’
The audience seemed a little lost, but the R&B maverick ran through the rock-inspired hit off his latest album Wildheart, as scenes of surfers flashed behind him, and later he was joined by rapper Travis Scott for his verse from the official remix.
The remix is part of an upcoming ‘Rogue Waves’ digital bundle, due Feb. 26. The 5-song effort will feature other remixes by Kacey Musgraves, Tame Impala, and more.
Last week, Miguel shared the rooftop performance music video for the Travis-assisted version.
