New Music: Mishon – The Lost Files (Side 1)

Mishon The Lost Files

We heard Mishon voice frustrations on “The Truth,” now the young R&B singer/songwriter digs into his vault for the new free project, The Lost Files.

Opening with the Shyne and Barrington Levy sampled “Call Me,” the project boasts a collection of previously unreleased, sultry R&B jams, and concludes with the Dondria-assisted “Slow Jam,” a cover of Usher’s 1997 track.

“I took sometime off to really find myself. The transition from child TV and music star to adulthood without the same perks can be upsetting, but I’m singing my way to success,” said Mishon. “There are a lot of singers but I’m one of the best and I’m back to prove it.”

The 7-track EP should be just what Mishon’s fans need to hold them over until the former “Lincoln Heights” star releases his debut album, which is expected this summer.
