TIDAL Rising artist Miesa stands strong and takes back her heart in the newly released visuals for her latest single “Too Bad For You.”
Heartbreak is the inevitable truth on the piano-laden ballad, which Miesa describes as “reverse psychology about a toxic relationship where [she] realized it’s the last straw.”
Born to a Haitian mother and Filipino father, the 24-year-old rising R&B/pop powerhouse draws inspiration from calypso, gospel, funk & soul in her music. She cites Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton and Mariah Carey as her biggest influences.
Miesa is currently working on her debut album with Jackson Croft (Tamia, Jessica Simpson, Keri Hilson), The Chemistri (Wynter Gordon, Kristinia Debarge), The Rascals (Ariana Grande, Zendaya) and Happy Perez (Miguel). The LP is set for release this year via Siri Music Group (Capitol/Caroline). She is also working on a covers EP that will draw from several different genres of music, featuring collaborations with Stacy Barthe and Deborah Cox.
