After releasing one of our favorite records from June, with “Perfect,” buzzing singer-songwriter Bibi Bourelly returns with a brand new record, titled “Tides.”
The Def Jam signee is prepping for the release of her second EP, ‘Free The Real: Part 2,’ which is due out later this summer. In early September Bibi will kick off her first headlining tour, the “Free The Real Tour,” which will kick off Sept. 2 at U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC, and travel to 19 North American cities before wrapping up October 2 at Roots Picnic Bryant Park in New York City.
The newly released song is ever so fitting for these moments in her career, as she glides through the bombastic production singing, “I’ma ride, ride, ride / Ride the wave, ain’t no tide gon’ slow me down.”
