Cuffing Season is here, and John Legend is giving lovers a new anthem to get cozy to, with his brand new single “Love Me Now,” which he released last Friday.
Today, the R&B crooner gave his first televised performance of the marching love song on ‘The Ellen Show.’ Standing on a small, single platform stage, wearing a flower painted leather jacket, Legend belted out the touching lyrics.
“I don’t know who’s gonna kiss you when I’m gone / So I’m gonna love you now like it’s all I have / I know it’ll kill me when it’s over / I don’t want to think about it / I want you to love me now,” he sings.
“Love Me Now” is the first single off John’s upcoming fifth studio album Darkness and Light, which is due out before the end of the year.
In addition to his performance, the talented singer/songwriter sat down with Ellen to chat about his baby girl Luna, campaigning with Hillary Clinton, and working with Ryan Gosling!
