Alicia Keys delivers a message of unity on “The Voice.”

On Tuesday night, the R&B powerhouse-turned-coach hit the stage on the show she now stars on to perform a medley of songs from her latest album HERE, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 this week.

She started with “Blended Family (What You Do for Love),” but paused only seconds into the performance. “That’s my new song ‘Blended Family’ that I was supposed to sing tonight,” she explained. “But due to the current climate, there’s only one song I can sing. That’s ‘Holy War.’”

With her co-star Adam Levine beside her playing an acoustic guitar, Alicia sat down behind her piano for the rest of the set, while fans waved hands side to side.

“Divided by difference / Sexuality and skin / So we can hate each other, fear each other / We can build these walls between each other…But maybe we should love somebody, maybe we can care a little more,” she sang.

From there, Keys blended in portions of “Blended Family” into “Holy War’s” finale while her fellow “Voice” coach Miley Cyrus sang along. Watch their performance below.
