Omarion celebrated his birthday with a special gift for fans. The 32-year-old singer delivered his new, confessional singer, “It’s Whatever.”
“I’ve been only single for months / I’m just trying to get my swag back,” he sings.
Things get even more personal — with nods to his high-profile breakup from Apryl Jones — as he adds: “Torn apart, catch me I’m on the run / Told my BM she can have that / Put that on my daughter and my son / Every night I’m having flashbacks.”
Along with the song, he revealed that his long-awaited album Reasons is coming in early 2017.
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be dropping a new project early next year titled ‘Reasons’ & I am confident that it will be well received like all my previous work,” wrote O. “I’ve grown in so many ways & this is reflected in my music. I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
