On Tuesday (Apr. 11), Kelly Rowland released her anticipated book debut, Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened), and she hit the promo trail in NYC to promote the release.

One of Kelly’s early stops was an interview with “Sway In The Morning” on SiriusXM, where she spoke with Heather B and Tracy G.  Already a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and actress, the mother of 2-year-old Titan Jewell, collaborated with her personal OB/GYN, Dr. Tristan Emily Bickman, on her literary debut for new moms on what to expect post-pregnancy.

“Whenever you have your baby, there was no information to tell you anything that happens mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and I was like, that needs to be done,” said Rowland.

During the conversation, Kelly also talked about the effects that pregnancy had on her body. She joked, “Snap back is not real for everybody.”  She admits that it took her almost a year to get back to her pre-baby weight.
