Rapper/Singer Tory Lanez is coming back for round 2.
Less than a year after releasing his debut album I Told You, the Toronto native says he’s almost done with his sophomore effort.
Lanez took to Twitter with the exciting announcement for fans, revealing that his “second album [is] 90% done.” However, a release time frame wasn’t mentioned and he said that he won’t be talking about his music moving forward.
“gunna let the music speak 4 me at this point,” he wrote. “I hate the way the media runs with a story and then it becomes THE story . I’m cool on it”

Earlier this year, Tory Lanez dropped two mixtapes, Chixtape 4 and The New Toronto 2. He also recently squashed his long-running beef with fellow Toronto native Drake.
Currently, Lanez is traveling the country on Future’s “Nobody Safe Tour” with Migos and A$AP Ferg, which continues through June 30.
