Alicia Keys introduced a new natural look during her album cycle for 2016’s HERE. Now, while enjoying the mid-summer vibes the songstress has debuted a vibrant new hairstyle.
Taking to Instagram, the singer/songwriter showed off her colorful new braids, which are a blend of orange, pink, and yellow hues. To share the new ‘do, she captioned a photo of herself looking over a balcony “#views #nyc.”
“The Voice” coach shared a photo of her braids covering half of her face, as she looks right into the camera. She left the stunning image captionless.
Keys’ husband Swizz Beatz was also gushing over his wife’s new look. Sharing two photos of the R&B singer, he added: “Somewhere over the rainbow? The Keys❤ ?????????????.”
This past spring, Alicia revealed that she is already working on her next album, and will not be returning as a coach on the next season of NBC’s ‘The Voice.’
“I’m ready for the next one already, which was kind of the plan the whole time,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I wanted to put out ‘Here’ where they have a statement body of work, and my next body of work is already in the works. I’m excited!”
Last month Keys joined Nicki Minaj for the uplifting standout song, “Nobody,” off DJ Khaled’s #1 album Grateful.
