Chris Brown is keeping the summer vibes turned on with his Dancehall inspired new song.
Just one week after dropping the rap-leaning “Pills and Automobiles,” the R&B superstar returns with, “Questions,” which samples Kevin Lyttle’s 2003 hit “Turn Me On.” The island-flavored track is the latest release off Brown’s anticipated new album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon.
Keeping it light and airy, Breezy sings out to a new lover girl. “From the moment you was dancing in the party / Pushing all on me / Giving everything, you’re giving everything tonight,” he sings. “And if you thought you could get away from me / Girl, just take your time, you’re coming home with me tonight.”
Later, he adds: “She only love me ’cause I’m dangerous / That poom-poom somethin’ like angel dust.”
“Questions” was one of 40 songs that Brown teased as part of his double album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, a follow-up to 2015’s Royalty.
While a release date is unknown, Brown recently addressed the delay. “HEY TEAM BREEZY.. READY ON MY END. EVERYTHING ELSE IS ON THE LABEL. (DELAYS) MISCOMMUNICATION TO THE FANS,” he said. “just finished shooting one video today) next video in a couple more days! IM TRYING MY ABSOLUTE BEST TO DELIVER ON TIME AND ACCURATE. LOVE THE LABEL BUT THEY BE ON SOME BULLSHIT WIT TIMING!”
