Buzzing teen singer-songwriter Khalid joins the likes of Miguel and others with a tribute to the amazing SZA.
Sitting in his tour bus, the soulful crooner performs an acoustic cover of her fan-favorite song “The Weekend.” Coming in at just a little under a minute-and-a-half, the brief clip shows Khalid’s appreciation for the Ctrl standout.
Throughout the unplugged performance, Khalid breaks down the confident track with his own flavor. “You take Wednesday, Thursday, then just send him my way / I need love,” he sings.
