It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the super talented Jordan Bratton, but that has now changed with the surprise release of his brand new single, “Pieces.”
Produced and co-penned by hitmaking duo Pop + Oak (Nicki Minaj, Miguel), Jordan spreads his creative musical wings while opening up about the outcome of splitting from his girl.
“Everybody wants a piece of me darlin’ / Everybody wants a piece of me lately / Everybody wants a piece of me baby / But since you’re gone it’s been tragic,” sings. “Every wants a piece of me darlin’ / I don’t really see nobody else but you / Everybody wants a piece of me baby / Everybody but you.”
The now 22-year-old broke onto the scene as a blossoming teen with his 2013 mixtape The Grey Area, and eventually signed with RCA Records. In 2015 the singer/songwriter/musician released his debut EP, the critically acclaimed YOUTH.
“Pieces” is the first release off Bratton’s anticipated follow-up effort, which is coming soon. Don’t sleep on this one, take a listen below.
