PARYTYNEXTDOOR flexes on us once again with yet another loosie release. The OVO crooner follows up the Ty Dolla $ign featured “Put It On Silent” with another unexpected collaboration.
PND teams up with NYC rap legend Jadakiss for the flossy, vibed-out “Cartier.” Over the mellow production, Party sings about his expensive shades and his self-reliance. “Cut ’em off like Korean barbecue scissors / I wear expensive Cartier frames, they don’t see the vision / I could do it all by myself, no assistance,” he sings.
Kiss comes through with his raspy flow on the second verse. “They ain’t know me then, I bet they know me now,” he raps. “Dead weight ain’t do nothing, but slow me down / Pure confidence, straight dominance / Need no co-defendants no accomplices.”
“Cartier” is part of a string of additional new releases from Party, including “Break Me Down,” “DAMN,” and “Naked.”
Next up, PND is set to hit the road with Halsey on her “hopeless fountain kingdom Tour,” which kicks off Sept. 29.
