Watch: Eamon Returns with Stunning “I Got Soul” Video

By

Do you remember Eamon??

The Staten Island bred singer/songwriter broke out in 2003 with his hit single “F*ck It (I Don’t Want You Back).” After an unsuccessful campaign for his sophomore album, the crooner was released from his record deal with Jive Records and relocated to Los Angeles. An unfortunate situation occurred with his next deal, leaving him unable to release the album or perform for a few years. Now prepping for the release of his first album in 10 years, Golden Rail Motel, Eamon has debuted a stunning, theatrical video for the single “I Got Soul.”

Teaming up with director, Doug Quill, the visual is a sweeping single-shot performance, featuring a cast of unique characters and constant moving scenes at a seedy motel.

“I never copped Jordans in my life / And I don’t rock clothes that’s highly priced / Never catch me doing no trendy dance / Old school like my old man,” he sings. “Famous friends don’t call me no more / And I ain’t on sold out arena tours / I don’t got trap beats for mumble raps / But baby I’m back and … I got soul.”

Eamon’s comeback album, Golden Rail Motel, is due out tomorrow September 15.
