For the 6th episode of his “In The Room” series, Gallant teams up with Dua Lipa to pay homage to the late great Amy Winehouse, on what would have been her 34th birthday.
The two singers connected at NRG Studios in Los Angeles with a duet of Winehouse’s “Tears Dry On Their Own,” off her classic album Back To Black.
On the tribute, Dua Lipa told The FADER, “I loved working on this song with Gallant, he’s so talented. I was so excited to have the opportunity to work with him, he’s a true artist through and through.”
Gallant was equally excited to collaborate with Lipa, saying: “Dua is a fantastic artist and I was shocked to hear she wanted to do an episode of In The Room with me. I think we created a special moment together.”
