Indie: Emerging Artist Michael Kay Releases Debut Single “I Don’t”

Introducing indie R&B artist Michael Kay. This 21-year-old singer/songwriter from Australia makes his official debut with the release of his first single “I Don’t.”

Over a groovy track filled with live instrumentation, the crooner addresses feelings over the experience of a breakup and moving on from the relationship.

“It was a shame when we were breaking apart / Now I’m happy that I’m all alone, wasn’t feeling the spark,” he sings. “I’m gonna do me / Hope that you’re doing you / Heard you think I want you back / Huh? I don’t.”

Michael says the record is a great pre-cursor for the new year. He is currently working on his first project, and will be releasing another single within the next month.

“I Don’t” is now available for streaming and download on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and all digital music services.
