New Video: Craig David feat. Bastille – I Know You

Craig David has been making an impressive comeback over recent years. Today, the English singer/songwriter debuts the fun-filled music video for his latest single “I Know You” featuring Bastille.

The track is currently on BBC Radio 1’s “A” list and has been streamed over 12 million times on Spotify worldwide. The New York Times proclaims, “The Craig David comeback is in full flower, graduating from hybrid DJ set-performances to king-size collaborations…‘I Know You’ begins with nods to club music, but at the hook it begins to swell, and in comes an unlikely partner: Bastille’s Dan Smith, who sings at his meatiest, perhaps mindful of the royal company he’s in.”

Speaking of the collaboration, Craig says: “Dan (Bastille) and I wanted to write a song about inclusion, love for our friends and making great memories together. ‘I Know You’ is a nice way of reminding us to celebrate life and how simple things like being on a night out with our mates really does give us all so much pleasure.”

He continues: “This was definitely a collaboration that caught so many people off guard, and that makes it even more special to see how everyone has shown so much love for the track. I hope you enjoy the brand new video.”

Dan from Bastille says, “We’ve always been huge fans of Craig’s music and have become mates over the past few years after playing some shows together, so writing a song together in the studio felt completely natural. We had so much fun making ‘I Know You’ together, I’m excited for everyone to see it.”

“I Know You” is taken from Craig’s forthcoming seventh studio album, The Time Is Now due due out January 26. Along with Bastille, the album also features collaborations with JP Cooper, AJ Tracey, Ella Mai, Kaytranada, and Goldlink.

Craig is set to excite audiences with his high energy TS5 Live performance when he embarks on his first US tour. Kicking off in Miami on January 12, the tour will make stops in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas before wrapping in San Fransisco on January 19.
