Following his introduction with “I Don’t” last month, indie R&B artist Michael Kay releases his second single “Love Like Death”.
While the 21-year-old Australian native’s first release was filled with live instrumentation and addressed a breakup, Michael is moving on with a worldwide dancefloor groove on the follow-up. Laced with synths and electronic effects, the pop/R&B track is an anthem for those searching for love.
“Tell me where you are babe,” he sings. “How do I find you? / Are you that somebody who will
love me through the joy and the pain? / Through it all stay the same?/ I need you to love me, like death is around the corner.”
Michael is currently in the studio recording new music for his debut EP which is due in April.
