Snoop Dogg continues to innovate his career.
After dropping five gospel tracks and his 220 EP, the Hip Hop legend returns with “Sunshine Feel Good,” a collaboration with Kim Burrell off his upcoming album Bible of Love.
Produced by DJ Battlecat, the smooth West Coast track features a lowrider bounce, while Burrell provides a soulful assist. “Don’t front, you know this sunshine feels good in my hood,” she sings. “Sometimes you might feel alone / But don’t look now, it’s almost morning / Just let the sunshine in.”
Da Doggfather also reflects on dark versus light. “Was a time when a storm came in my life,” he raps. “Didn’t know which way to turn, to the left or right / Out the corner of my eye, saw a little light / Flickerin’ like a flame in the darkest night.”
Soak up the “Sunshine” below.
Additionally, Uncle Snoop teamed up with Uncle Charlie Wilson once again for the brand new song “One More Day,” also off Bible of Love. Every time these two collaborate it’s exceptional. Take a listen below.
