Chloe x Halle continue to inspire. With their debut album The Kids Are Alright due out in two weeks, the sisters have shared another new song, both from their album and the soundtrack to Disney’s new movie A Wrinkle In Time.
The Grown-ish stars stretch their angelic voices on the track, while the video features them throwing a mini-celebration in an elevator with film star Stormy Reid, who plays Meg Murry in Wrinkle, as well as Rowan Blanchard (Veronica Riley).
Directed by Matthew A. Cherry, the visual also shows scenes from A Wrinkle in Time, and of a gang of girls and guys living inside the light, while overcoming fears, as warriors do. “Almost there, overcome my fear / I’ll save the light in our lives,” they sing. “Just look deep inside to find you and I / Like stars in the sky will brighten the light.”
The A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack features original songs from artists including Sade, DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato, Sia, Kehlani, as well as an original score by Ramin Djawadi. Check out the official video for “Warrior” above.
Chloe x Halle also collaborated with YouTube for International Women’s Day to share their story of how the women in their family inspire them to be warriors.
