Tinashe reimagines her “No Drama” single.
Teaming up with Sony’s “Lost in Music: Sessions,” the pop princess performed a special, stripped back version of the track with a live band.
Speaking about the process of recreating a song for live renditions, Tinashe says: “Not only does it challenge you as an artist and as a creative to reimagine it, but it also, I think, inspires the fans. I think everyone likes to hear a new version of the song.”
Adding, “The single version is definitely kind of a trap song, and this version that we’re gonna play today is definitely less trap. It’s going to be more stripped down, more stripped back. I get to vocalize more than I would on the recorded version, and it’s going to be a different vibe.”
