Listen: K. Roosevelt Revisits “Point Of Impact” with Outstanding Acoustic Version

By

Singer/songwriter K. Roosevelt has surprised fans with an acoustic version of his 2013 standout song “Point of Impact.”

The artist/producer hasn’t released new music since his Neon Haze album, but he has assured his followers that this stripped back rendition is just the beginning of more to come this year.

The original lyrics remain intact but the emotion behind them is greatly highlighted by the subtle single guitar strumming by Roosevelt. Whether or not he’s well over the feelings from the broken relationship, the wounds feel so fresh.

“I fell in love with the sound of your laugh,” he sings. “And looking in your eyes I saw your soul / We had all the pieces to the puzzle / We didn’t know what it was though.”

We are excited that this is a teaser for new music, but based on this acoustic gem we hope he has more similar vibes on the way! Take a listen below and stay tuned.
