Yes, Lawd! Anderson .Paak is back and feeling right at home on his experimental, funky, and quirky new single “‘Til It’s Over,” which was released exclusively via Apple Music.
The Jeff Kleinman and Michael Uzowuru-produced track allows Anderson to supply his raspy-but-soulful vocals, while singing about drinking, smoking, and binge-watching a comedy show.
“I talk about you highly,” he sings. “I’m fascinated for the time being / We can laugh until the morning / Or we can dance in the hallway…But I’ma ride it ’til it’s over.”
The song can be heard in a four-minute commercial for Apple’s HomePod, directed by Spike Jonze and starring FKA twigs.
The Grammy-nominated singer is currently working on his debut album via Dr. Dre’s Aftermath imprint. It will be the follow-up to 2016’s critically-lauded Malibu.
