Jessie Reyez and Daniel Caesar made musical magic when they connected to perform their recently released collab, “Figures, a Reprise” at the 2018 JUNO Awards.

Held on March 24-25 in Vancouver, British Columbia at the Rogers Arena, the two breakout Canadian R&B stars shocked the crowd with the debut of their outstanding collaboration. Originally released by Reyez as a single off her acclaimed debut project Kiddo, the duet breathes new life into the breakup anthem.

Opening with Jessie seated on a stool playing guitar, she then rises up and belts out the stunning, introspective lyrics with a stern walk down the catwalk off the stage. As the camera pans to her background singers, the audience is shocked to see Daniel Caesar in the lineup, as he delivers his new second verse.

“Wish that I could help myself / Give my love to someone else,” he sings. “Stuck to you, you turn me into a fool / Worried about my mental health / All the pain that I done felt / Knocked me right off my own pedestal.”

Making his way to where Jessie is now seated in the middle of the crowd, their excitement and joy is impossible to ignore as they share undeniable chemistry. Both Reyez and Caesar are leading a youthful, soulful singer-songwriter movement, and this was special!
