Fresh off the Coachella stage, Miguel got us entangled in his surprise cover of Daniel Caesar and Kali Uchis “Get You.” Recorded with Spotify for their official ‘Singles’ series, the R&B maverick offers a fiery live rendition of the hit single.
A collection of guitar strings lace the cover, from the hefty bassline to striking electric guitar, and Mig’s vocals are perfectly fitting. “Every time I get a bit inside I feel it,” he sings. “Oooh, who would’ve thought I’d get you.”
Miguel dropped more than just a Daniel Caesar cover. As part of his Spotify Singles session, he also released a new version of “Sky Walker” without Travis Scott. Backed by an acoustic guitar, Miguel enjoyed the moment with a new rendition of the Matador-inspired single off last year’s War & Leisure.
