Rae Sremmurd and The Weeknd join forces on “Bedtime Stories,” a standout from the Tupelo duo’s triple album SR3MM.
Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and Marz, the after-hours jam is all about nighttime activities…without any literature. “I’m not trying to tell you bedtime stories,” sings Abel. “I’m not like those other ni**as talkin’ to you / I’m not lookin’ at you, I’m lookin’ right through you.”
Swae Lee offers up a couple of verses, explaining how he isn’t here to play. “I don’t wanna play those games,” he sings. “I’m not tryna hide my pain / Ni**a say he’s ballin’, I’m like same, same, same / She love a different ni**a every day.”
Meanwhile, Slim Jxmmi raps about a night with his lady friend that doesn’t feature any lip locking. “I’m diggin’ your vibe, I’m diggin’ your vision / And in the night, we do no kissin’ / I can come but I can’t stay / Just put that love on layaway.”
Rae Sremmurd’s triple album SR3MM also includes a solo effort from each member. In all, the project features appearances from Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Pharrell, Juicy J, and Zoë Kravitz.
