Miguel is looking for some new friends with rapper Goldlink on their brand new collaborative single “Got Friends.” The track gleams with an ominous filtered-out soul sample as the R&B maverick opens with his melodic chorus. “All my bitches got friends,” he brags in a sense that no party will be short of beautiful women when Miguel is invited.
Goldlink jumps right on the reverberating track with some drippy bars and sleek flow. “I ain’t really got to rap about it I just talk about it, ’cause I live it now,” he raps. “So let me tell you about this P.Y.T. that I seen last week I had to take a bow.”
Miguel returns with a party-ready chant on the bridge where he encourages, “if you and all your girls bad as fuck put your hands up.”
To celebrate his career thus far and pay homage to his hometown, Goldlink recently announced “Three Nights on U Street,” where he will be playing three intimate shows across three nights at Washington D.C.’s iconic venue U Street Music Hall, performing one of his albums each night with specialized stage production.
