Watch: Eric Bellinger & Ne-Yo Become Dance Instructors in “Dirty Dancing” Video

By

Pink spandex, a room full of dancing women, plus Grammy Award-winning artists turned pseudo dance instructors. Those are the secret sauce ingredients to Eric Bellinger and Ne-Yo‘s playful music video for “Dirty Dancing,” their upbeat collaboration from Bellinger’s latest album Eazy Call.

Directed by Arrad, the comedic visual opens with the R&B hitmakers hotboxing Eric’s BMW. When he spots a beautiful woman coming out of a dance studio he quickly tells Ne-Yo that he will be back shortly, and informs the young lady that he is the absent “instructor.” Bellinger commences to play it like a pro and before long his “assistant” Ne-Yo joins the sexy fun, proving that you don’t need a club to dirty dance on the floor.

Ne-Yo was more than willing to make this story come to life with Bellinger, “This is a summertime BOP! The song is infectious and fun, as is the video. Makes you wanna dance. What’s better than that?,” says Ne-Yo.

“I remember sending the song over to Ne-Yo and just remember hoping he’d jump on it,” shares Eric Bellinger. “One night he hit me and told me to come by the lab but didn’t say for what. When I walked in he said, ‘surprise!’ He pressed play and he had recorded his verse for ‘Dirty Dancing,’ I couldn’t believe it!”

Eric is currently sweeping the country on his “Eazy Call Tour.” Ne-Yo just released his seventh studio album, Good Man. Check out their video for “Dirty Dancing” below!
