While on tour in Vancouver, Leon Bridges caught up with the infamous Nardwuar for a very candid and at times awkward interview. Known for his wild historical questions and gifts, Nardwuar got Bridges to reminisce about his early music and time in dance school. The soul singer blushed as he tried to hold back from laughing at some throwback photos from his dance days.
Moving into some of his early musical influences they talk about Mint Condition and a slew of underground rappers from Texas, many of whom Leon could still recite some of their lyrics. It was one of Nardwuar’s shorter interviews, but for any fan of Leon Bridges, it’s a must watch to see his down to earth and goofy personality.
