After going T.K.O earlier this year, Mýa is letting us know she “G.M.O. (Got My Own).” The R&B vixen returns with the brand new single, an unexpected collaboration with rapper/singer Tink.
The bouncy track, produced by MyGuyMars and Resource, is an empowering, boastful anthem about taking control of your own life and working hard to provide for yourself. While she alerts a suitor to her financial security, she won’t turn away his offer to spend his on her.
“Don’t need money, got my own / I got bags, bags to blow,” Mýa sings. “Don’t need dough, but you can spend it, if you want.”
Tink declares she needs a dude who can match her wealth because “fucking with a cheap n***a ain’t gon’ cut it.”
