Mila J closes out summer with her ‘August 2018‘ EP. Like every month this year, the Los Angeles native has given fans a quality project of original music. Her latest is no different as the singer/songwriter delivers 5 heartfelt, relationship-based songs.
On the opening track “Handsome,” Mila lets her man know that fancy things can’t replace his love. “I don’t need the fancy purse if the only thing I’m clutchin’ in your hand,” she sings.
Later, she moves on to someone new while teasing her ex that her “New Boyfriend” is better than ‘you.’ “Can somebody tell him some things don’t last for forever, some things just last for a minute,” she sings. “This love so deep you be in it / And then you look around you look around and ain’t nobody checking for you.”
Other songs include “Just Don’t Lie,” “Business and Pleasure,” and the Migh-X featured “Bars.”
