Gallant‘s sophomore album Sweet Insomnia may have been released back in October 2019, but that hasn’t stopped him from giving fans what they want from the project. Releasing the highly anticipated visual to the title track, the Grammy-nominated singer kept things creative with its direction.
Merging retro designs and Bohemian decor, the two talented crooners come together to coo out their bittersweet lyrics. Directed by Cameron Dean, the visual includes bright colors, a few trippy clips and perfect shots of both Gallant and 6lack. The video serves as the follow-up to Gallant’s Sabrina Claudio-featured single “Compromise” and his ’90s influence visual to “Sleep On It.”
The visual for “Sweet Insomnia” also comes two days ahead of the L.A. kickoff to Gallant’s “Sweet Insomnia” tour, which will see support from talented R&B singers Ro James and VanJess.
