There’s a new festival in town and it’s guaranteed to give the others a run for their money. Setting off their inaugural run, the Lovers & Friends Festival is offering R&B lovers the chance to see some of their faves all on one stage.
Set to take place at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, on May 9, the star-studded line-up includes headliners such as Ms. Lauryn Hill, R&B icons TLC and the originators of the “Lovers & Friends” motto, Usher, Ludacris and Lil Jon. Brandy, Monica, T-Pain, Tweet, SWV, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown and more are also listed to appear.
Don’t think this is just a lineup with veteran artists though. More recent stars who are on the bill include Summer Walker, Jhené Aiko, Megan Thee Stallion, and Sweetie are also set to take the stage during the one-day event.
Reminiscent of 2017’s Soulquarius event, Lovers & Friends is guaranteed to be a good time.
General admission tickets start priced at $145, while VIP and Super VIP tickets start at $230 and $450, respectively. Presale tickets go on sale this Thursday, February 20 at 10 a.m. PST and you can get your tickets here.
