Jhené Aiko‘s got time on her new song “B.S.” featuring R&B songstress H.E.R. The song was an instant fan favorite off her new album Chilombo. Lyrically, the ladies are flexing on their exes and enjoying the single life. Jhené kicks it off with savage lines like “Some of y’all ain’t never have no real b*tch and it shows/I keep it one hunnid from my head down to my toes.” Next up is H.E.R, dropping some of her most quotable bars to date, “He’s the only thing that’s been gettin’ me through it/He be comin’ through with it/And I hope you cool with it/I just met your roommate/put him on my to-do list.” The Fisticuffs produced beat has a laid back groove that booth ladies ride smoothly with their buttery vocals. Both voices are beautifully balanced as the ladies harmonize on the last round of the chorus. This song is destined to be one of the break up anthems of the year.
The song quickly reached the upper echelon of the iTunes chart once the album was released. According to Hits Daily Double, Chilombo is predicted to debut with first week sales (SPS) of 95,000-120,000. If true, the numbers would guarantee Jhené her highest first week sales to date.
