2020 “SOUL TRAIN AWARDS” The Clark Sisters, H.E.R., Monica And More

The 2020 “Soul Train Awards is a star studded event that we’ve all been waiting for. The A-list performances and special appearances from Smokey Robinson, Charlie WilsonBabyface, Jazmine Sullivan, Brandy, Ella Mai, Ceelo Green and so much more.

ThisIsRnB participated in the  “Soul Train Awards” 2020 vitural press conference. We were honored to speak with the legendary gospel soul group, The Clark Sisters. They shared their favorite songs and how they serves as prophecies in the current state of the world. They believe their music delivers a message of hope, empathy, keeping people connected and love.

H.E.R. is nominated for eight Soul Train Award, which makes her the leading artist for this year ceremony. During the conference she discussed having a track with the soulful iconic  Mary J. Blige, which we are patiently waiting for. H.E.R. was very discreet about any upcoming projects, but did assure the fans she’s constantly working on new music.

The sixth annual Lady of Soul Award will be presented to Grammy Award-winning singer, actress, philanthropist and entrepreneur Monica. She’s the youngest female ever to have two #1 back-to-back hits on Billboard’s R&B chart from her 1995 debut album “Miss Thang.” Her sophomore album, “The Boy Is Mine,” garnered Monica pop success with a record-breaking 13 weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts. With a music career spanning over two decades, Monica’s chart-topping success continued throughout her career with multiple record-breaking albums and single releases with over 25 million records sold. We’re so glad she’s finally receiving her well deserved flowers.
