Atlantic Records has partnered exclusively with ThisIsRnB to present a month long Holiday special. We are kicking off the event with Atlantic Recording artist, PJ as she gets us in the spirit with her holiday record, “Single On Christmas” off the Atlantic Records holiday album titled “Still Home For The Holidays” which features various artists.
The Geensboro North Carolina. multi-talented artist PJ ( short for Paris Jones), is not only an amazing singer with raspy vocals that audiences can really catch a vibe too, but her pen game is dope. She has lent her creative songwriting lyric talents to artists as Wiz Khalifa, Usher, Chris Brown, Charlie Puth, Fantasia , Meek Mill and more.
ThisIsRnB’s Unfolded sat down for a lively chat with PJ where she joyously discussed her latest single, and her recent EP “Waiting for Paris” and much more. The single seems to be a ‘pun-intended’ as she let our hosts know that she is in fact single. “Nobody wants to be single on Christmas/ All I need is the little things, I don’t need the presents / Still don’t mean we have to be cold / We don’t have to spend it alone…” On the track, you can hear overtures of “Jingle Bells” laid down as a R&B vibe as she soulfully sings nobody wants to be “Single for Christmas.” It’s such a smooth track that is sure to become a holiday classic, and not at all a “lonely hearts type” song as one might think.
