On Thursday, singer and rapper Doja Cat seems to be leaving or taking a break from music after her performance in Brazil, and some tweets from frustrated fans in Paraguay.
Doja’s show had to be to cancelled on opening day of the Asuncionico Festival Parguay due to flooding and a major storm. Allegedly some on twitter became frustrated, as well as fans outside of her hotel were disappointed Doja didn’t interact with them, or post about the canceled festival online.
Tweeting back and forth, and responding to one fan’s tweet Doja wrote “It’s gone and I don’t give a f**k anymore I f**kin’ quit I can’t wait to f**king disappear and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore. Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and I’m a f**king fool for ever thinking I was made for this this is a f**king nightmare unfollow me.” Later she wrote “This s–t ain’t for me so I’m out. Y’all take care, and then changed her twitter name to ” i quit” and bio simply to “lol.”
As of Friday, Doja was currently still listed to perform another show in Brazil, so its unclear if she’s actually quitting music or just witter. I guess we’ll have to stay tuned.
