The wait is officially over! 2x RIAA Certified Double Platinum artist Roy Woods hangs up his hiatus status, and drops his 2nd studio album ‘Mixed Emotions’. Woods shares the rollercoaster of emotions he conquered during his absence from his talent, through this remarkable album. This eccentric melodious studio album stars production credits from Noah ‘OVO40’ Shebib, RAAHiiM, Mcevoy, Simbo, and more, including heavy features from Coi Leray, Jada Kingdom, and Vory.
Taking on a fresh lease on life, the Canadian artist is eager to showcase why his return to music is needed. He also wants to show that he’s become a better man for himself, his family, and his fans.
The focus single off the album features hip hop heiress, and rapper Coi Leray on ‘Hate Me’ which is featured on this long-awaited 17-track album. Woods also hosted a free intimate live concert last night July 23rd in Brooklyn NY at SILO with special guest performances from Young Money’s Mello Rackz and OVO sound label mate Smiley in celebration of his album release for fans, media, and celebrity friends all sponsored by rolling papers brand Zig Zag.
