The record-breaking, chart-topping R&B keeper Kevin Ross releases his latest “Midnight Microdose Vol. 2” project today. This comes on the heels of his smash hit and the first single from the project “Ready For It” featuring Eric Bellinger,
Ross’s atmospheric mix of relentless riffs, thunderclap percussion, and lush beats is interwoven with intoxicating vocals tormented by emotion from beginning to end. In this project, Ross offers a unique perspective on toxic relationships, darkness, and survival as he explores new terrain.
While the entire project is a whole “get-into-it vibe,” tracks #2, ‘Animalistic, ‘#3 ‘New Lows, ‘#4 ‘Found Me,’ and track 5 ‘Ready For It,’ stand out hitting hard and just right, delivering a musical escapade into Ross’s unique style.

Ross releases an accompanying new music video for “Ready For It” featuring Eric Bellinger. With its bedroom vignette, “Ready For It” establishes a subtle and sensual mood that Ross creates. A string of text messages from Ross to a mystifying romantic interest sets the scene for a narrative that escalates into an alluring rollercoaster in the video.
Kevin’s musical genius has earned him a place in history as the first-ever independent artist with two charting singles in the top 20 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay at once.
