FRANK OCEAN CANCELS NEW YORK SHOW DUE TO ILLNESS

By

A day after launching his solo tour, Frank Ocean was forced to cancel his New York show after falling ill. Fans were waiting for the Odd Future crooner to take the stage at Bowery Ballroom when they were informed that the concert would no longer be happening.

Ocean posted a message on his website explaining that he was not feeling well and could barely speak. After receiving a steroid shot from a doctor, he was still unable to perform. He apologized to concertgoers and promised that he would reschedule as soon as he was feeling better.

The five-date intimate tour, which kicked off last night in New Orleans, is scheduled to stop in Amsterdam (11/8), London (11/11), and Los Angeles (11/15). A sixth show in Paris was recently canceled.
