Keri Hilson has been in the studio recording her third album, but she recently took a quick trip to Kazakhstan! for a private performance. The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer shared the trip with her fans posting some photos of herself and updating them on her adventures. Upon landing in the airport, she and her crew downed customary shots of vodka before exploring the city.
She smoked the hookah with her friends and even tried new things including horse meat. “Kinda like roast beef, but more gamey. Had to at least taste it. Normal dish here,” she told her followers.
Her experience was far from the Hollywood version. “Kazakhs feel Borat (movie) made their country seem rural, primitive, poor, & stupid. Now I see it wasn’t an accurate depiction, just satire,” she said.
