Brandy truly put it down on Monday night in NYC at the Best Buy Theater for her official Two Eleven release concert. For a completely sold-out crowd the R&B diva celebrated the album release with her starz, delivering an energetic, heartfelt and at times emotional performance of her many classics and new hits. Following impressive opening sets from R&B up and comers Hal Linton and Bridget Kelly, the 33-year old made a grand entrance as the whole building was at a frenzy. Brandy’s amazing fan base has been anticipating this successful moment just as much as their vocal bible has been.

In the middle of her stirring set Brandy made sure to pay tribute to her friend, mentor and biggest inspiration – Whitney Houston. Honoring the late legend with her own rousing rendtions of “How Will I Know”, “Baby Tonight” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” After a moment of silence in Whitney’s honor, to everyone’s surprise Brandy brought our emerging R&B star Luke James to inflect his amazing vocal ability onto the crowd with his single “I Want You.” The star of the show then brought the energy all the way up again as she performed her singles “Put It Down” and “Wildest Dreams” before closing the show.
