Mariah Carey continued her TV promo on Friday, following a visit to ‘Live! with Kelly & Michael’ she stopped by ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.’ The Pop diva reminisced with Jimmy about their viral holiday video from last year, how her fans started calling themselves Lambs and why American Idol is like a real job to her.

Mariah announced her anticipated new album is due this May, she hasn’t solidified a title yet, but she is very excited. Speaking with Billboard previously, Carey revealed she has worked with hitmakers Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream and Rodney Jerkins, along with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox on the record. She is taking her time though, making sure the records are right, “It’s about making sure I have tons of good music, because at the end of the day, that’s the most important thing,” says Carey. When pressed about record style she revealed there are, “lot more raw ballads than people might expect,” but you can expect some uptempo and signature MC style songs as well, “Wherever we go with this project, I’ve tried to keep the soul and heart in it,” she said.

Following her chat with Fallon the “Almost Home” singer even joined Jimmy in a game of beer pong, but in honor of Mariah they switched the beer to Dom Perignon Rose. Check out the clips below…
