Earlier this week, Perri “Pebbles” Reid paid a visit to “The Wendy Williams Show” to address her portrayal in Vh1’s TLC biopic ‘CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.’ Many have been abuzz about the claims and comments she made during her visit, including that Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez were the ones who wanted Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas kicked out the group, and that Chilli had an affair with her then-husband and record exec L.A. Reid.
The ladies of TLC have now responded…
Both members, T-Boz and Chilli, tweeted “Yall need 2 watch what church y’all walk into cuz I’ll tell ya some of these so-called MINISTERS might get struck by lightning at any moment,” in reference to Pebble’s new role as a Christian minister.
The group then sent an official statement to the Wendy Williams show in response to the scandalous allegations.
“No member of TLC ever slept with or had sexual contact with LA Reid as Perri falsely accused Chilli of on ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’ In fact, Perri had falsely alleged the same thing happened with Tionne,” the statement reads. T-Boz then adds, “I would like to confirm that Perri Reid was the only person who ever suggested that Chilli leave TLC. Neither Lisa nor I ever wanted or suggested that.”
As stated on “Wendy,” Perri claims she’s planning to write a book as well as take potential legal action against VH1.
