Throwback Thursday: Tevin Campbell – ‘Can We Talk’

Tevin Campbell is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer, songwriter, and actor. Campbell was introduced to the R&B world by Quincy Jones.

“Can We Talk,” which was composed and produced by Babyface, was a single released from his double-platinum 1993 album I’m Ready. The single peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 36th Grammy Awards. It also won the Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Single.

Campbell is known for having a four-octave vocal range and for his amazing tenor.  Can you believe Tevin was only 16 when this song was recorded? Check out the video above!
