Buzzing R&B singer on the rise Tinashe has been building a strong following and heavy praise from the industry thanks to her acclaimed mixtape ‘Black Water‘ and spring/summer single “2 On.” But, many still don’t know much about her personally. Well, The Fader is hoping to change that a little as they have featured the L.A. native in their latest episode of ‘At Home With:,’a series where they peek into artists’ homes to see where they live, listen and make music.
Guess what? Tinashe still lives with her parents, and she doesn’t give a damn what you think about it. In the clip the R&B singer, songwriter, producer gives a grand tour of her family home in La Cresenta, California. She shows off her girly knick knacks, her bedroom studio set-up, and the door she used to sneak out of when she was just a rebellious teen. We also get to meet her dad, who gives a lesson in how to properly pronounce her name.
