Even though he has pushed his album back until next year and claimed he isn’t ready to release it, Usher has certainly been keeping fans covered with new singles. The latest release from the R&B superstar comes as a unique partnership with Honey Nut Cheerios, who teamed up with Usher to give fans a new song, the way our favorite cereals used to give us a toy in the bottom of the box.
The record, titled “Clueless,” found it’s way to the net this past weekend, and featured a feel-good vibe, and strong vocal from the multi-talented artist.
While the song has a great feeling, it has a pretty mellow vibe due to it’s lack of percussion. In comes international club DJ, DJ Soulchild, who has now delivered a re-vamped version of the song with some classic drums, courtesy of MC Shan’s hip-hop classic “The Bridge.”
The slight mash-up works quite well, and gives the record a slick bounce, which it didn’t have before. Check out the remix below!
