BET celebrated all of our beautiful, powerful, inspirational and talented women during its annual “Black Girls Rock!” special, which aired on Sunday night. Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King, the star-studded evening featured musical tributes from many of R&B’s leading ladies including Ciara, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Fantasia, Faith Evans, Estelle and more.

The legendary Sheila E. kicked off the empowering show with a high-energy performance of her classic “Glamorous Life,” playing percussion and singing in unison.
