So, BJ The Chicago Kid likes to drop random singles, right? Ok, yea so the soul singer has returned with a new leak from his anticipated Motown Records debut album, In My Mind, which is due out this fall.
The tune is titled “Nothin But Love” and flips the Heavy D classic of the same name, plus includes stellar features from NYC rapper Joey Bada$$ and buzzing comedian Hannibal Buress, who adds some buttery talking at the end of the song.
Following Joey’s opening verse, BJ admits that through thick and thin he will never fall out of love for his baby. “You’re hospitable, f*ck-wit-able, and unf*ck-wit-able at the same time / Baby girl, and that first night stays on my night,” he sings.
